May's MNO, hosted by Nolan was an educational experience as usual. After a yummy dinner of hot dogs and fixin's, Nolan put on a schoolin' for us laymen on generators. So if your generator is not gennin and you were there, now you probably know what to do, call Nolan. No, just kidding. Nolan explained, with the help of Royce, the basics of diagnosing faulty generators. He rolled a half of dozen of the most likely scenarios for problems and fixes of the generator.

We of course also got the full tour of the " Nolan Renfro museum of transportation" The hit of the night was Nolan's newly required 1927 Austin. It was pretty cool. I heard it described as "cute" all night long. If your not familiar with the Austin it is basically a lil shrunken miniature Model T. One step above a go cart, but fully street legal. If you had 2 of them, you could go roller skating. As you may have guessed, even though it may have not looked like it, in true Renfro style, it runs.

All and all about 25 or so members enjoyed a fun yet educational evening at the Renfro estate. I know I left with a new felt knowledge. I can't wait till Nolan hosts another MNO, it will be fun to see what his new toy is by that time.
