Owners - Off Site Seeing and Antiquing AND...
It was reported to be a good tour with five T's participating. Many thanks to the Andy & Juanita for another successful journey to and from Waxahachie for the Annual Pete Cobb Memorial Tour. We had a small group this year, but no problems. The street around the square was being worked on so we parked on the north side, this is a shot from a different angle!

MNO_100_1774There where 29 attendees at this months MNO, which was amazing to me considering that the Dallas basketball team was playing another game. But I guess basketball is not like football in that if you miss one game, they're gonna play the same team a half dozen more times so your gonna get another chance to see 'em. MNO_100_1775
The main objective was to put a top on Robert's car. He had done quite a bit of the preliminary work on the top like putting on the new bow's and wrapping them. Although he was one bow short of enough material to finish. Wally volunteered to go home and dig some more material from his stock till Billy Rose overheard and said, "Hold on a minute before you go, I may have some in my glove compartment." Yes, you read right, Billy Rose had enough vinyl that he just happened to be carrying around in his glove compartment for years, to finish up that part of the job.

Five of the attendees where ladies who were there to keep our morale up and our tummies happy. Then there was a short dinner break for sloppy joe's courtesy of Shirley C. and 'nanna puddin' courtesy of Patsy G. There was none of either left. I am going to have to ask that in the future that people refrain from having seconds until everyone has had a chance to eat. MNO_100_1779Then it was back to work. There was a good bit of progress made but the top was not completely put on mainly due to the fact that Robert wanted to have the back cut and sewed so he can roll up the back window. I want to thank everyone for coming especially the ladies. They always make it easier. Join us in July when Dennis Sanford will host how to rebuild a ruxstell, again at Mitch's shop.

Stroll_5 Richardson Garden Stroll Review
by Renée
The first stroll of the year took place on Saturday, June 17. Fifteen of us (thirteen members and two guests) in five antique cars and one modern vehicle toured five lovely Richardson gardens in the Canyon Creek area. It was a bright overcast morning which kept the temperature down and fortunately held no rain. Thanks to all who participated
